Kolkata -Nayagarh Khabar- (06/02/2020): Report- Sanatan Mahakud -6th Annual Domjur Science Fair 2020 held at Begri Girls High School. It was organised by Domjur, DISHA from 23rd January to
26th January, 2020. This fair inaugurated by chief guest of Forest Department, Govt. of West Bengal Mr. Rajib Banerjee. There was than awareness rally by the students of different institute to
create mass awareness on save water, earth, environment and tree etc. there were 46 participating institutes’ display their science projects by young scientist from different educational institutes and NGO of West Bengal.
A book published on social awareness named “Disha Darpan” 20th Edition (ISBN: 9789353966362) on 20rd January by B.D.O of Domjur block Sri. Raja Bhowmick. Along with there were several
competitions like drawing, speech, extempore, go as you like on different scientific aspects. The organiser also felicitate “Howrah Jyoti” to “Sri Sri Sarada Asram Sebakendra” for outstanding contribution for the society.
The program followed by “Taru Bandhab Sanmanana” for the environment concern people of the locality and also “Prani Bandhob Sanmanona” for the people who can understand the real trouble faced by the animals suffering from different diseases. This program also
includes exhibition on India and foreign country currency notes and coins. For awareness to the people organisers arranged a workshop on CPR (Sent Jhon Ambulance, Kolkata). The main attraction of the fair is a seminar on “Chandrayan-2” conducted by
Dr. Debiprasad Duari, Director, Birla Planetarium, Kolkata. 4 days program ends with cultural program and prize distribution to all percipients. I
